Background:
I graduated from University of Glasgow in 2022, with a BSc Honours in Environmental Science and Sustainability and a MSc in Marine Renewable Energy from Bangor University in 2023. My BSc consisted of two dissertations – one a metanalysis on utilisation of microgrids for disaster risk reduction and another on experimental open-source lead detection from water samples in Wanlockhead using anodic stripping voltammetry (ASV). At Bangor University, my MSc thesis was to validate ERA5 and d4PDF climate modelled wind speed using FLiDAR wind data from BP and EnBW’s Mona and Morgan offshore wind farm sites as well as assessing future UK regional wind speeds and capacity factors.
Research Interests:
My main interest areas revolve around flow dynamics of floating offshore wind platforms and the impact of the resultant marine wake in the immediate surroundings. My other research interests involve climate impact on wind resources, tidal and wave energy, coupled atmosphere-ocean models, and computational fluid dynamics. I am an enthusiast to all possible viable energy options to bring a swift transition to net zero as well as the possibilities of AI.

I joined not just for better career options but also to upskill myself to be in a position to help the net zero transition in an environment of likeminded colleagues.
