Aura CDT recognised in the global Energy Institute Awards

25 November 2021

The Aura Centre for Doctoral Training featured strongly in a winning application by the University of Hull to the Energy Institute Awards 2021. The University received Highly Recommended for an entry featuring the Aura CDT alongside Masters provision in Renewable Energy, for ‘Excellence in Renewable Skills and Training’.

The category focused on applicants’ commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion, for which the Aura CDT has already been recognised as an example of best practice by the EPSRC.  The Aura CDT was also able to demonstrate that the training on offer was designed in close consultation with the offshore wind industry in order to meet sector need and develop a talent pipeline.

Applications are currently open to join Cohort 4 of the Aura CDT in September 2022. Apply by 31 December 2021 – more information and links on our How to Apply page.
